Weststar Farming – Fair Dinkum Funny Farm Tees S17 – Kookaburra Club

Membership is not optional. They decided that for you.

If you've spent any time on a rural property, you know the kookaburra's schedule. Dawn — they're on it. Dusk — absolutely. And any other moment they collectively decide something is worth laughing about, which turns out to be quite a lot of things.

The kookaburra doesn't laugh with you. The kookaburra laughs at you. There's a difference, and after the third time they've kicked off right as you're trying to have a quiet moment with a cup of tea, you start to appreciate it.

They sit on the same fence post every morning like they own the place. They watch you do things. They have opinions about those things. And every now and then, usually when something has gone sideways in a way that couldn't have been predicted, they start up — and honestly, it's hard to argue with their assessment.

Welcome to the Kookaburra Club. You were enrolled the first morning you heard them and couldn't help but smile.
